Kitchen Work
We understand the importance of maintaining a clean and fresh kitchen environment. Whether Type 1 or Type 2, kitchen hoods play a vital role in effectively eliminating smoke, steam, and odors, ensuring excellent ventilation, and improving air quality for both restaurant staff and customers. The hoods we install are expertly engineered and professionally installed to meet code requirements, ensuring maximum efficiency, durability, and long-lasting performance.
Black Iron
This is typically used for its durability and fire-resistant properties.
Black iron is commonly chosen for its strength and its ability to resist high temperatures and corrosive materials like grease.
Fire Wrap Insulation
These 2 layers of insulation helps protect the ductwork by preventing the spread of fire and ensuring the grease duct system is insulated for safety. Fire wrap insulation typically has a high-temperature rating and adds an extra layer of protection against heat buildup and potential fires.
Stainless Steel Strapping: This is used to secure the ductwork and insulation in place, ensuring it remains stable and that the fire wrap insulation doesn’t shift or become damaged over time. Stainless steel is preferred because it’s highly resistant to corrosion and rust, ensuring a long-lasting secure hold.
Double Wall Grease Duct
Prefabricated, insulated duct system designed for the safe and efficient removal of grease-laden air from commercial kitchen exhaust systems. It consists of an inner and outer metal wall, with insulation in between to minimize heat transfer, reduce fire risk, and prevent condensation. These ducts are built to meet NFPA 96 standards and local building codes, ensuring compliance and safety in high-temperature cooking environments.
